LinuxDays 2026

Core internal principles of Kubernetes
2026-10-04 , 155
Language: English

Kubernetes has a reputation for overwhelming complexity, but its core architecture is built on surprisingly elegant, simple principles. In this talk, we’ll ignore containers, networking, and production deployment strategies. Instead, we'll examine Kubernetes purely as a distributed system. We will dive into the control plane to understand what objects actually are, how controllers and reconcilers function, and how the eventual consistency ties everything together into a robust, coherent engine.

The session should be accessible to anyone with an interest in software architecture. Zero prior knowledge or practical experience with Kubernetes is required.
